Balkon Base Montafon

Located in Gallenkirch Austria this Ski Resort sports a facade and balustrade of Jakob Webnet tensile mesh. The mesh with its high level of transparency fades into the dramatic scenery providing the guests uninterrupted views of the mountains while providing a strong barrier preventing any falls. Considering the projects context Webnet was a fantastic choice for durability, ease of a single facade detail and aesthetics.

Using a frame work of stainless steel tubes Webnet is laced to the structure allowing the mesh to slide past the balconies uninterrupted for maximum efficiency with the product. The result is an exemplary project from Jakob showing some of the best of what Webnet has to offer.
